Remington Park Newsletter

Welcome to spring, Remington Park friends! This month’s missive is full of entertainment, information, and lots of fun events in our area. We hope to see you around RP, our city events, and wonderful restaurants. You may be seeing an increased presence of our Colleyville PD casually driving the streets of RP. This is to further enforce our speed limit of 30mph (feel free to go slower) as well as stop signs. Many thanks to our neighbors for reaching out to them on the non-emergency line. If you see something, say something.

Plus, be mindful of our spring hatchlings coming to a yard and pond near you! Our ducklings will be making a prime time appearance very soon. Be sure to watch your driving, pets, etc., to keep these lil guys safe.

The Social Committee is gearing up for the 2025 season of activities for the HOA and this is what we have planned.

We are bringing back the Easter Egg Hunt! It’s been scheduled for Saturday, April 12 from 1:00 – 3:00. There will be games, races and prizes along with the famed egg hunt. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Please bring your children, grandchildren or just yourself to mingle and get to know your neighbors! Don’t forget to bring your Easter Basket. We look forward to seeing you there.

Other items in the works are:

May 18 Ice Cream Social at the Cabana 2:00-4:00 to celebrate the conclusion of the school year!

August 30 Second Annual Labor Day Party 10:00 – 1:00 to kick off the Fall season

We’re working on putting together a Progressive Dinner sometime in the late fall. As the plans come together will let the word out!

Looking forward to another fun year for our Homeowners Association.

RP GARAGE SALE HAS BEEN POSTPONED AND IS NOW APRIL 11-12!

It’s Garage Sale time again! Mark your calendars for Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 from 8am – 2pm. If you are interested, please email Audrey@audreyhallrealestate.com with your notice to participate as well as your name, address, dates to participate and items that may be of interest in your sale. Also feel free to send photos to her if there’s something significant. Audrey is awesome at promoting this in social media as well. If you have any questions, please holler at Audrey at the email above or 817-797-0208.

HOA DRIVE THRU COMING!

Our NCCC Committee will be doing their drive through very soon. Take a look at your landscape, outdoor aesthetics, trash can visibility and/or repair items needed on your home. Those are items our team looks for and issues citations upon. It’ll be a great week to get repairs or adjustments done so your home is in compliance!

And remember, ALL exterior improvements MUST be approved by our NCCC. That includes but is not limited to: roofing, windows, gutters, painting, lighting, extensive landscaping, cement work. IF you like to roll the dice and not get approval, the NCCC can halt or have the work reversed. Gosh, that could get costly, so why risk it? Hop on the website and make it official with the HOA.

POOL & CABANA

The pool will be opening soon – just not yet. Once it opens, please parents, do not leave your kids unattended at the pool and do not swim until we give notice the pool is ready for swimmers. There is no lifeguard on duty and children should not be left unattended, it’s just plain ole irresponsible.

Remember, the pool and cabana are for homeowners and their family and guests ONLY – children must be supervised. Please do not share your key with anyone outside of RP and remind your family members do not jump the fence. We do have fancy schmnancy security cameras and we see who is disobeying the rules. Jumpers are considered trespassers.

We will issue an email when the pool is open and ready for prime time. When it’s in the 50s at night, it’s just not there yet.
